Chairman's Visit to Zibo

Chairman's Visit to Zibo

Zibo Welcomes Chairman Frank Zipfinger

In April of this year Vecor scored a major coup with the appointment of new chairman, Frank Zipfinger. Frank is highly esteemed thanks to a long and illustrious career and a wide-ranging set of qualifications. He possesses degrees in law, finance, and accounting, not to mention an MBA from Melbourne Business School.

For 33 years Frank helped guide global law firm King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) as a managing partner (including managing partner, China) and five years as chairman of the board. Perhaps most valuable to Vecor is Frank’s wealth of experience as chairman of established and highly respected listed companies and not-for-profits. With this, comes knowledge, connections and credibility sure to help propel Vecor into the next exciting stages of development and product roll-out.

Frank has a history of involvement in humanitarian and green projects which make him particularly well suited to his new role. In fact, it’s Vecor’s committment to using technology to develop practical and commercially viable solutions to the world’s waste problems which captured his imagination and ultimately saw him thrilled to take up the position of chairman. As a firm believer in climate change, Frank strongly supports Vecor’s mission of turning grey into green.

“My hope is that Vecor can use its technology to address critical global environmental problems and building material needs,'' he said.

In August, Vecor CEO Alex Koszo had the pleasure of welcoming Vecor Chairman Frank  for his first visit to Zibo. This was Frank’s opportunity to connect with the team, inspect the factory and gain an deeper insight into the operations. It’s fair to say he left impressed at the level of cohesion amongst a diverse team and with admiration for their commitment to Vecor’s mission of profitable sustainability.

Earlier last month Alex along with Deputy CEO David Agoston welcomed Frank for his Sophomore visit to Zibo. This visit was highlighted by an intense two-day strategy discussion that has paved the road forward for Vecor going into 2020. The discussions left all involved tired but excited for what is to come for Vecor in 2020
